Brooke/Teddy/Maddox

A little while ago I did a photo shoot of my friend Heather's two beautiful children Brooke and Teddy.  Maddox has known them for his entire 2 years of existence and came along for the ride.  Here is what came of this shoot.

Bryce and Brielle

So I haven't been able to get these pics to mom and dad yet but I'm so excited about how well they turned out that I'm going to share a few with you here first. Bryce just turned 1 and Brielle is 3.

Renee's First Birthday

Here is my boyfriend's niece on her first birthday. He wanted to surprise her mom with a printed and framed picture from her party.  She has beautiful eyes and he wanted a black and white print with her eyes in color.  So this is the finished product that I had printed and framed for Momma.  She is just too adorable.
Happy Birthday Renee!

It has been quite some time since I've posted to this blog but I wanted to get it started up again.  I have some images that are about a year old from my nephew's first birthday that I never shared.   Now seems like as good a time as any to share them finally.  Seeing as he is 2 and long past due for another shoot.  I'm also trying to get a child portrait business started up and have been experimenting on my very gracious friends with their adorable children.  I have just begun to edit those and will have them up very soon.

Portraits

Bare with me here.  Some of these are repeats but I would like to show a wide selection of work in a single post.
Here are some business portraits I did for a brochure.

Here are a couple from a little family location shoot

Becca is a musician that needed some promo portraits

These are for a group of dancers that are starting their own company

This is my family(along with my new nephew!)

"miniatures"

While on vacation in Richmon, VA I have been playing with my dad's digital point and shoot. It has a "miniatures" setting on it that is supposed to simulate a 4x5 and blurs the top and bottom of an image. I am really liking the fun images that come from it. Here are a few examples.

Fun in the city MDN

So my roommate M has a group of dancers that he works with and they asked me to do a photo shoot for them, mostly promo stuff for their website. We went out into the city and around where V lives and they were goofy and fun and just being themselves so that's what I wanted the images to come out as. Fun and goofy and I had fun shooting and editing them. Let me know what you think.
